Formed in 1989, the Dallas Banjo Band consists of more than thirty 4-string banjoists and one tuba. Their music encompasses every type, from jazz to classical to just plain fun tunes!
The Dallas Banjo Band has played in venues as far away as Wyoming and at various jazz festivals across the country, as well as locally in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
The members come from all walks of life, including professional musicians, business persons, retired military personnel, and airline personnel.
Band members average approximately 65 years of age, with over half being over 70. There are currently two female members.
