David Gallegos, having picked up the guitar at the age of 13, has been playing for over 23 years. Playing rock and metal for the greater portion of his career, David eventually began listening to and writing music with a softer, more emotional touch. In 2003, he decided to branch off from writing progressive metal for his band, Power of Omens, and began work on his first full-length Latin new age CD.

As a 12 year veteran of the music industry, with two internationally released CDs, a contribution to a Queensryche tribute CD, and a guest artist appearance a CD for Tejano artist Eddie Gonzales, David took his experience and decided to write, record, design, and release his solo CD completely on his own. After a year of hard work, the CD, Mis Recuerdos, was self-released at the end of 2004.

With the CD completed, David moved from San Antonio to Dallas to begin showcasing his music. In Dallas, David met guitarist Sammy Echeverry, whose drive and passion for music made him the perfect fit as David's rhythm and harmony guitarist. Sammy, an experienced musician, was no stranger to the local and national scene, having played in several bands over many years.

After a few months of working together, David was introduced to Rick Read through a mutual friend. Rick, originally a progressive/experimental bassist in the Dallas scene, had played and sessioned for many bands in the area. His experience and hard work ethics proved to be just what the band needed.

Fortunately for David, Rick was a bandmate (and roommate) of drummer/percussionist Ross Young, whose drive, solid playing and attention to detail rounded out the band perfectly.

After a few months of hard work, the four musicians soon found themselves building their set list. Since the beginning of 2006, the band has aggressively sought gigs, from wine bars and bistros to restaurants and festivals.
