Founded in 1981 by oboist Rogene Russell and bassoonist Charles Price, Fine Arts Chamber Players of Dallas has over two decades of history featuring local professional musicians in chamber music concerts at no charge to the public. The mission of the FACP is to enrich and enhance the quality of life for Dallas-area residents, especially families and children, through free concerts of classical music and educational performances, including the Bancroft Family Concerts, the Basically Beethoven Festival and Dream Collectors.

The FACP is composed of professional classical musicians from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Dallas Opera Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony and area university faculties.
