Genre: Celtic
Sound description: Rollicking sing-a-longs, ballads and brilliant, danceable instrumentals that originate from Ireland, Scotland and Australia
City: Dallas, TX
Web site: http://www.irishrogues.com
The premier Irish pub band in Dallas, the Irish Rogues have been together for over 20 years, entertaining crowds with their infectious style and good humor. Besides regular gigs at Trinity Hall and The Tipperary Inn, the Rogues can be found at fests and clubs all over the area. With their ever present song books and good-time charm, the Rogues never fail to draw a sing-a-long crowd!
The band was created by Ireland's own John Hodgins (a native of County Offlay) and his good friend Harold Herrington. Under John's leadership, the band shares an energy and fun loving direction combined with excellent instrumentals and vocals. They are one of the longest held Celtic music groups in the Southwest.
