Also known as Rob G and the Latin Pimps, Rob G is Robert Gomez, the leader of the Latin Pimps. After their debut in 1999, the band disbanded after Gomez moved to New York to pursue his solo career. However, the band reformed in 2004 after Norah Jones suggested the idea to Gomez.
