Makin' Waves is a four-part a capella ensemble that has been entertaining audiences since 2000. Although primarily considered by most as a barbershop quartet, the group's repertoire extends from barbershop to jazz, gospel, pop and swing.
Makin' Waves has sung for many venues in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including radio, corporate events, community concerts, weddings and private functions. All members of the group are part of the Vocal Majority Chorus and the group is often featured on chapter shows. The group's unique blend of youth, energy, innovation and willingness to try anything has become their signature trademark. In competition, the group has placed as high as third in the Southwestern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Members of Makin' Waves also perform in The Vocal Majority Chorus.
