Deck Sachse records and performs under the name Mission to the Sea. From the trenches of brooding acoustic rock, Mission to the Sea finds its own voice with flamenco and bossa nova innuendo cradled in seaside rock sensibilities. The melancholy and lucent voice of Mission to the Sea is accompanied by muted and often minor chords from acoustic guitar. Spry flamenco notes add brightness and complexity while mellow bass and beats add a subtle but plush texture. Their efforts result in articulate but intimate tunes, as worthy of play in downtown night owl digs as they are in sunny beach huts by the Cape.

Karaoke Oh yeah, you know you wanna belt it out like you're alone in the car. The microphone beckons. What else do you have to do on a Monday night? I mean besides watching football? If this is a bit far from your neighborhood, don't worry. There is a karaoke machine near you just waiting. More info
