The One O'Clock Lab Band is a large jazz ensemble which includes five saxes, five trumpets, five trombones, guitar, piano, bass, drums and percussion players. The director of the One O'Clock Lab Band is Neil Slater.

The One O'Clock Lab Band made a three week tour of Japan and spent a week in Hong Kong during the summer of 1996. They have performed at jazz festivals around the world in places such as Finland, France, Germany and Portugal. The band has also toured Russia, Mexico and Australia. In February 2004, the band toured Thailand.

Redefining the Disfranchised: The Political Art of Nina Allender As we continue to celebrate the 88th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote, there's a prime opportunity to view influential art from the era. Nina Evans Allender drew political cartoons for The Suffragist from 1914 into the 1920s, transforming stereotypical views of who a suffragist was.
