A Partial Freakout was born as an ectocentric expression ranging from delta blues to rockabilly to progressive rock. With roots stemming from traditional jam bands like the Dead, Phish and Widespread Panic, A Partial Freakout brings the elements of alternative country and acid jazz to the jam band equation.

West Fest Polka Festival Westfest kicks off the the weekend on Friday evening with the Miss Westfest Contest. Gates to the fairground (in West, Texas, south on I-35 just beyond Hillsboro) open at 5:30 p.m., and you can hang out touring the food booths until closing time at 12:30 a.m. If there was ever a place to do your "wurst," this is it, folks!
