Big Beam and Skinny Red first started collaborating their musical talents in Oklahoma City. After moving to Dallas, they started South City. The group's focus and work ethic has paved the way for success in the metroplex.
South City has made a firm decision to not be swayed by drugs and crime so they may accomplish their goals. They have seen too many friends make a wrong decision that cost them their dream to succeed.
South City is able to create a strong street appeal without limiting their minds to just what the streets can offer. The band uses their musical gift to keep them focused. South City hopes to use rap as a way to build up their community.
