Sound description: Hard-driving and fast paced, with frequent solo breakouts
Formed: 2005
City: Midlothian, TX

The Texas Prairie Band was formed approximately in the fall of 2005. Patrick Bouldin and Kathy Snider frequently play at North Texas bluegrass jams and gospel singings. They first met Austin Crehan at a regular jam near Cleburn, Texas. Austin was playing flatpick guitar at the time. Patrick and Kathy invited Austin to jam with his upright bass at Patrick's house. Then they met Bob Carabbio at a different (but regular) jam in Red Oak, Texas. Bob plays an awesome banjo and has brought good experience to the group.
