I'm not sure from whence they came, but a pair of tickets good any day this weekend at Oktoberfest Addison have appeared on my desk.
Be the first to correctly explain in the comments below why it is not weird that Oktoberfest is in September and the tickets are yours. They're actual paper tickets, so you'll have to pick them up from our office, lessn' you're quick and trust the US Postal service.

The reason it's not weird is because Oktoberfest actually starts in Munich in September. It's turned into a 2+ week event to celebrate the King's wedding that actually took place in October.
hence the name October, and why it starts in Septemeber.

Cool, what are the working hours to accomplish such a task?
Now that I have reigned victorious, I would like to add that I still think it's weird that Addison does theirs in Sept simply because it's usually warm and humid every year. Seems like it would make more sense to commemorate the closing weekend in Munich and increase the odds of having better weather here in Dallas.
What do I know? I'm just a stupid drunk.
