Our friends (and advertisers) at House of Blues have given us five (5!) pair of tickets to get you in to see bluesmen Robert Cray and Guy Forsyth on Saturday Night. I've caught Cray a couple times and he always puts on a great show. And if this video is any indicator, Forsyth is a helluva lot of fun.
Here's how we'll distribute-- The following users are getting tickets in the UnContest just because The Daily You says that they love them some blues: Blue Shoe Mike, pjones, vance and margaretd.
That leaves one pair you can win by clicking "Add to favorites" on the show page (requires free / easy / painless registration and login).
We'll draw the winner from among those who favorited on Friday morning and will need real names for all the winners by lunchtime in order to get them on the guestlist.

I can vouch for Guy Forsyth. He used to be the house band at Antone's in Austin back when that was my stomping ground. This should be a great show!

I too can vouch for Forsyth.
He was a founding member of Asylum Street Spankers and if his recent mini-show at Bill's records was any indication, he still has it going on.
Plus he has some of the coolest guitars I've ever seen.

Ha! Good guess, but the avatar is from a favorite of mine, Natalie Dee.

This guy is like some kind of Robert Goulet-Elvis who plays the electric saw and great Stratocaster! And the bass player also plays tuba on some songs.

Guy Forsyth was a much better performer than Robert Cray. At least Guy put some effort into his show....Cray was going through the motions with little or no enthusiasm.
