Description

The dreampop hard rock band Vertigo is headed to Dallas at The Skillman Street Pub on Sunday, July 20th, 2008. The quartet hailing from Tennessee is touring in support of its independently released debut CD "And Miles To Go Before We Sleep." The album, which contains 11 original tracks, blends math rock's complexity and the power of punk, yet also retains a heartbreaking sensuality. Skillman Street Pub will be one stop on Vertigo's upcoming tour, which will take them to 22 U.S. cities before returning home to Knoxville, TN.

Attendees of a Vertigo show are treated to an eclectic mix of original songs performed with passion and fury, lead by vocalist Lindsey Stamey. Vertigo has also been known to delve into experimental jams from time to time to contrast their typical intensely driven live show. No strangers to the rigors of the road, Vertigo has been a backing band for a diverse range of artists including Flyleaf, Shiny Toy Guns and The Gin Blossoms.
