Wedding cake contest features local pastry chefs and tablescapes by NorthPark retailers. Located on Level One between Neiman Marcus and Oscar de la Renta.
10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Wedding Cake Decorating Competition:

- Nina Hunter, The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Dallas
10 a.m. - 8 p.m Raffle Tickets on Sale
NorthPark shoppers may vote for their favorite cake with the purchase of a raffle ticket:
- Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20
- Tickets are sold at the competition site and in NorthCourt
- With the purchase of 5 raffle tickets, spectators are invited to the Cake Café, between Montblanc and Kenneth Cole, to enjoy complimentary cake samples and Cavallini Coffee
- Plasma screen TVs around the cake displays and raffle ticket purchase areas will air competition footage
- Proceeds benefit Les Dames D'Escoffier's Scholarship Endowments
- The popular vote cake winner will be announced Sunday, June 8 at 3 p.m. Raffle ticket holders who voted for the winner of the popular vote will be entered into a same-day prize drawing, featuring one grand prize winner and a second and third place winner
6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Cake Mixer, invitation-only reception
Unveiling of completed wedding cakes on tablescapes designed by select NorthPark retailers
6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Judge's Winner Announced
Cakes will be judged by a panel of guest judges, featuring:
- Alice Medrich, celebrated chocolatier and culinary author
- W. Donnie Brown, wedding event specialist and TV talent
- Bronwen Weber, Frosted Arts Executive Pastry Chef and TV Talent
- Blue Mesa Grill (Dallas): 4 pm - 7 pm: $4.25 house margaritas, $2 domestics, $2.75 imports / 4 pm - 7 pm: free quesadilla bar
- Nai Bar & Grill: 3 pm - 7 pm: $3 apple martinis, $3 wells & $2 beer
- Dave & Buster's (Dallas / Walnut Hill & 75): 4:30 pm - 7 pm: 1/2 off wells and cocktails, $1 off drafts and wine
- Red Hot & Blue (Dallas): 4 pm - 7 pm: $3 drafts, $3.50 premium drinks
- Sherlock's Pub (Dallas): 2 pm - 9 pm: $1.75 wells, $1.75 select pub draughts, $2 house wine, $2.25 select calls, $6 select pub pitchers
