Description
Like workshop artisans in the days of Emperor Constantine, campers will draw upon familiar stories and symbols to create painted frescoes, book-cover designs, and relief sculptures. Daily activities complement gallery discussions focusing on ancient artworks from the exhibition Picturing the Bible: The Earliest Christian Art. A light, midmorning snack will be provided. The materials fee for this camp is $125 ($100 for Kimbell members). Space is limited; to register, call 817-332-8451, ext. 297. Ages 6-12.
