Description

An outstanding musical group returns. If you caught their act before, you know how great they are; if you didn’t – here’s another chance. Their show will give you a wonderful taste of that great New Orleans sound, with American music from Broadway and Gershwin to Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, and ’60s Rock and Roll, with just a touch of Country thrown in.

It’s the “Class Act Jazz Band,” a group of musicians who have been around for years and are still going strong. They’ve performed at times with (among others) The Levee Dixieland Band and the North Dallas Jazz Band All-Stars, and have now banded together to create a style and sound of their own. Their group consists of well known, longtime musical favorites – Tam Mott (trombone), Jon Stutler (clarinet), Rodney Booth (trumpet), Marla Sporrer (banjo), Dude Kahn (drums), Danny Hollis (keyboard), and Bob Christopher (bass).
