Description
Party will feature stations that represent the pillars of Blue Mesa’s “Handmade, Heartfelt” concept – signature items including classics (Adobe Pie®, Red Chile Salmon, Goat Cheese Enchiladas), Churrascaritas® (skewers), the Tequila Bar with fresh fruit margaritas, and new items developed from area farms. Liz Baron, who started Blue Mesa with her husband Jim, points out, “We have always made our food by hand in our kitchens each day and now we are sourcing many of our ingredients from local farms, adding to the freshness and quality of our products.”
The event will also kick-off the Sweet Potato Festival, with a special menu that makes the most of the local sweet potato harvest including signature sweet potato chips. While Blue Mesa has always placed importance on homemade food, there is a new commitment to buying local. The Blue Mesas feature seasonal vegetables and chicken from area farmers, as well as other locally produced items.
