Coppell volleyball continues success in District 6-5A

Coppell notched another victory on Friday night. The Cowgirls (32-3, 9-0) swept Lewisville on Wednesday night, and gave R.L. Turner (5-23, 0-9) the same treatment two days later.

Coppell's next opponent on Tuesday night is the floundering Lady Trojans of Newman Smith (3-25, 1-9). The Cowgirls, who are ranked No. 4 by MaxPreps.com, hold on to a one game lead over district rival and MaxPreps.com's No. 8-ranked team, Flower Mound Marcus. The Lady Jags, who swept Creekview, face Flower Mound (17-7).
