DALLAS Tickets are now on sale for Savor Dallas, the wine and food extravaganza happening March 7-8, 2008, taking place this year in several downtown Dallas locations.
The event starts on Friday March 7 with the Savor Dallas Arts District Wine Stroll at the Nasher Sculpture Center and Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. A Savor Dallas "Friday evening ticket" will also allow attendees to enjoy a Celebration in Victory Park's AT&T Plaza, including a film screening with AFI DALLAS (two great events with one ticket).
On Saturday, March 8, the "International Grand Tasting" moves downtown to the Plaza of the Americas and Westin City Center Hotel (the official host hotel for Savor Dallas). More than 60 North Texas chefs will showcase signature recipes, along with over 500 premium wines, spirits, and beers. The ultimate epicurean experience features vintners, artisan producers, and purveyors from around the globe.
Tickets run from $40 for a single event such as a wine-tasting seminar all the way to $350 for an all-access weekend package, and can be purchased at SavorDallas.com.

I'm just curious. Why in the world would you sell tickets to something that far in advance? Does it sell out? Like littlekinder, I probably couldn't afford to attend.
