Hmm, know what? If you wanna stay out after midnight, that's your prerogative, honey. We're not stopping you. Have a good one.

— The city of Frisco is enforcing a curfew for teens that prohibits anyone under 17 from being out in public late at night.

On weeknights, the curfew runs from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.; on weekends, it's midnight to 6 a.m. Those found could be required to pay a fine of up to $500.

Exceptions are allowed if the teen is:

  • with a parent
  • running an errand and makes no stops
  • traveling to or from work
  • standing on the sidewalk outside his or her home
  • out on an official school function
  • a vampire
