Frisco joins the rest of DFW in bringing residents a good excuse to enjoy our lovely (when not sweltering) evening weather. The free outdoor concert gains popularity as cities and businesses look for family-friendly activities to build community involvement and appeal.
South Austin Jug Band - "Dark and Weary World"
Frisco Grooves, sponsored by the American Bank of Texas, will host a free concert every Friday night in June. The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Warren Sports Complex and is open to the public. According to the release, even "wagons" are welcome, but only if you put them in a circle to stave off Indian attacks (just kidding, obviously).
June 6 - Terri Hendrix, Lloyd Maines and friends
June 13 - South Austin Jug Band
June 20 - Sisters Morales
June 27 - Derailers
