Sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, a man died in his sleep at the Bridge homeless shelter in Dallas. Aid workers provided counseling to residents who were upset by the ordeal.

The deceased's identity has not yet been confirmed. Though the first death of its kind at the Bridge, such is not an uncommon occurrence at shelters given a homeless person's limited access to health care services.
