Is there a black market for macaws? (Not a picture of Max)

Is there a black market for macaws? (Not a picture of Max)

— Max, a 28-year-old macaw parrot, was stolen by two thieves from the Pet Village in Duncanville Tuesday morning. Max is owned by the owner of the store, Stephanie Roberts, and has been a fixture at the store his entire life, chatting up the customers as they come and go. No money was taken, so it seems Max was the robbers' main target.

Blurry Video of the brazen robbery can be seen at the DMN site.
