— A $1,000 reward is being offered for the safe return of Max, a 28-year-old blue and gold macaw parrot, which was stolen Tuesday from The Pet Village, 200 N. Main Street, Duncanville.

According to owner Stephanie Roberts, Max was the store mascot and many people would visit just to see him.
