The Downey brothers - 42-year-old Albert and 44-year-old Henry - both ended up at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth on Thursday night (Aug. 28) following their second visit of the day to a "known drug house" in the 1200 block of Ramsey Avenue in Fort Worth.

Henry died at the hospital; Albert - treated for a gunshot wound to his arm - now faces murder charges.

Police say the Downeys engaged in a gun battle with residents inside the house after their earlier attempt to purchase drugs from the occupants yielded unsatisfactory results. 17-year-old Carlos Johnson, who was inside the house at the time of the shooting, was killed during the gunfight; another 15-year-old teen was reportedly wounded, escaping out the back door and taking refuge in a neighbor's house until an ambulance arrived to treat him.
