Saddish news from the Method Entertainment camp:

Method Entertainment has been very fortunate in the past to have had the opportunity to work with some of the best acts that Texas has to offer. When any of these bands break up its always a big loss for the music scene and the fans.

On Friday, January 11 (This Friday) at we will be saying our goodbyes to one of our favorite bands in Dallas. Chemistry Set will be performing their last show at Club Dada with their good friends Calhoun. We hate to see them go and we are sure you will be too. Regardless of the break up this show will be one you will not want to miss. Both Calhoun and Chemistry Set will be performing special extended sets.

So sayeth (writeth) the Chemistry Set about their dissolution and last show:

"Warm greetings to friends of the Chemistry Set. We have definitely loved and appreciated the chance to make music for and with you all these many years, but, unfortunately, all good things must end. Meredith and I will be moving out of the Dallas area later this month and so the band will no longer be able to continue in its present incarnation. We do hope to be able to continue making recordings with Josh and Cory as we move into a somewhat hazy future, but live shows will be difficult. So please join us for a farewell show this Friday at Club Dada in Deep Ellum. We play around 11:30, after our good friends Calhoun, so come on by and let us enjoy your bright, shining faces before we take off into the unknown. And remember, it's not goodbye, it's just 'see ya later.'" All Love, Stephen & Meri
