The DISD's previous method of firing people was not quite as successful.

The DISD's previous method of firing people was not quite as successful.

According to this post at dallas.org, several employees at Spruce High School in Dallas were mistakenly fired by an auto-dialer. Of course, since Spruce is going to be virtually empty next year, that "mistake" may soon turn out to be a reality.

The part I'm most interested in, though, is why exactly does the Dallas ISD have an auto-dialer program to fire people? You can't do that kind of thing in person? And what does that message say? "Hello. You're fired. Have a nice day."
