The Texas Rangers once again suffered a complete pitching meltdown Friday night, losing 10-4 to the Orioles in Baltimore. The loss dropped the Rangers to 44-43 on the season.

Just like in their previous loss to the Yankees, Texas suffered from terrible pitching en route to another lopsided blowout. Rangers starter Vicente Padilla gave up eight runs off nine hits in under three innings, before leaving with apparent injuries to his collarbone and hand. It was the second straight poor outing for Padilla, who has seen his ERA rise almost a full run to 4.70.

The Rangers offense was good, but not spectacular, collecting nine hits and four walks. Milton Bradley continued his tear through the league, going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Bradley is among the American League leaders in hitting at .323, and has knocked in 26 runs in his last 24 starts.

Ian Kinsler also had a good day hitting leadoff, going 2-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 16 games. Kinsler also had a walk, an RBI and a run scored, and is running neck-and-neck with Minnesota's Joe Mauer for the American League batting title at .325.

Josh Hamilton was pitched around for most of the day, going 0-for-3 with two walks and a run scored. Rookie phenom Chris Davis, unfortunately, had the first 0-for-4 performance of his eight-game career, and failed to knock in an RBI for the first time in any of his career starts.
