Dallas-area Fiesta Marts are now offering a special “Fiesta Five” youth ticket for only $5 to the marquee SuperLiga matchup this Sunday, July 20 (9 p.m. CT) at Pizza Hut Park featuring Mexican first division powerhouses CF Pachuca and Santos Laguna.
The promotional ticket will be available for children ages 12 and under through Sunday, July 20 only at Fiesta Mart outlets. Adult tickets are also currently available for purchase at Fiesta Marts, as well as other Ticketmaster outlets and at the Pizza Hut Park box office (open Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 3 p.m. to game time). For more ticket information call 888-FCD-GOAL (888.323.4625).
Sunday’s match promises to be a memorable affair, as the two teams battle for a spot in the semifinals of the annual tournament, which pits four top Major League Soccer teams against four top Mexican club teams for bragging rights and $1 million dollar prize. Led by Colombian goalkeeper Miguel Calero, Pachuca, the defending SuperLiga champion, tallied a win and a loss in the first two games of the tournament and needs a win to be in the running for a spot in the semifinals. Santos, the current Mexican league champions and home to Mexican national team star Oswaldo Sanchez, is winless in two SuperLiga games, but still has a mathematical chance to advance with a win Sunday.
