Hip Pocket Theatre kicks off 32nd season with world premiere of Cootie Pancake

It's summertime and that means Hip Pocket Theatre is back with their outdoor season. This year marks their 32nd season performing for the metroplex and to kick it off they are presenting the world premiere of Cootie Pancake from June 6 - 29.

Cootie Pancake is a dark farce by Johnny Simons. The endearing story of Cootie Pancake, a special child, who goes on an unexpected journey with his favorite traffic reporter.

Gates open at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 9 p.m. Live music takes place before and after each performance. Opening night of the show only costs $5 and features John Nitzinger as the musician. You can click here for a complete live music schedule.
