When Coppell City Council meets in special session on Tues. evening, Sept. 2 at City Hall, they will open the floor for public commentary on the proposed 2008-2009 tax rate of 0.64146.
Following this discussion will be a work session of the Coppell 2030 committee, tasked with getting all Coppell's administrative ducks lined up so future growth doesn't swamp the civic rowboat.
Finally, an executive session will be convened to hash out a course of action in opposition to a zoning change request involving the Billingsley Corp. and CB Parkway Business Center vs. the City of Coppell and Coppell ISD, and resulting litigation.
The fun starts at 6 p.m.
