Parker City Council meets to hash out boring financial issues
... and hear a summary report on the Nastia Liukin parade.

In addition to the Planning and Zoning Commission items, the Parker City Council will also hold a discussion on the following topics when they meet in regular session on Tues., Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. in City Hall:
* the proposed 2008-2009 fiscal year budget
* the proposed property tax rate (.37708 per hundred)
* a summary report on the Nastia Liukin parade
* a resolution allowing acceptance of gifts and donations for the parade
* a resolution to purchase shirts for city council members sporting the official Parker logo
* consideration of ordinance covering Atmos Energy's rate review mechanism
* the revised annexation schedule for property on McCreary Road
* discussion of a requirement for all riders of non-motorized vehicles to wear a helmet
* the city debt policy
