The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico emphasizes the exhibition of great dance skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of Mexico's folklore and heritage. For over 30 years, ANMBF promotes cultural awareness, history, physical fitness, discipline, responsibility and teamwork. White the company specifically seeks to instill cultural pride and awareness in Hispanic youth, it is also concerned with educating the general public about Hispanic cultural influences. The company primarily performs at the Latino Cultural Center and the Rose Marine Theater.
