The Ice Training Center in Richardson is the first "gymnasium" style ice rink in the north Texas area. Unlike the vast number of "family ice centers" throughout the area offering numerous amenities such as public skate rentals, in-house restaurants, party rooms, and arcade games, the Ice Training Center offers a no-frills, quality ice rink and team locker facilities at a price youth, high school and adult leagues can afford.
The 51,000 square foot facility houses two regulation-sized NHL hockey rinks with associated team and penalty boxes. In addition to the two reliable sheets of ice, the structure includes limited team facilities to keep construction costs and operating expenses to a minimum. These amenities include multiple team locker rooms with shower facilities, vending machines for refreshments and snacks, limited bench style spectator seating, and a small pro shop offering the basic hockey essentials.
Please check with the Ice Training Center for ice availability.
