Jake's Joint is not a place that offers quality customer service! Rude waitressss and an out dated system. When it was time to pay the bill not only did our checks get put together, we were charged an 18% gratuity charge that applies to a party of eight (there were six in our group)! We were told the system couldn't separate our checks once it was put in as one check. After speaking with the manager (who tried to pressure one of us to pick up the tab) our checks were separated and the 18% gratuity was taken off! Very unpleasant experience!

Okay, I have been a patron of Jake's for a while now and always feel like people are giving me dirty looks...but this last week takes the cake. The clientele at Jake's is horrendous...nothing but a bunch of low life people out to have a good time at other's people's expense. My gf and I had just finished attending her Grandmother's funeral visitation on Thursday night. We both needed something greasy and bad-for-you to try and rid our sorrows...Jake's was the place to go. So, we arrived...walked thru the patio (remember, we just attended a visitation for a family member) to get to the front door and were harassed by a table of 8 drunken juveniles. I have never been thru something like this especially in the year 2008...come on...are we not grown up yet? Anyway, we were inside trying to decide if we would stay or not and spoke to the waitress to try and tell her what happened. She shrugged us off....so we shrugged Jake's off.
If the type of people that you want to spend your dinner time with are low life, red neck, scum bags...then Jake's is the place for you.

We will never be back and are spreading the word.
