— Matthew Butler, 28, and Stephen Swan, 26, were shot and killed outside Zion Gate Records, their Christian music recording studio in downtown Garland. Butler was owner; Swan was sound engineer.

The studio wasn't disturbed, but Swan's tan 1995 Ford Crown Victoria with Texas license plate number S05VCD was taken. By Thursday evening, police found the car in East Texas and apprehended three people, whose names were not released.

UPDATE: The three people apprehended were Demarius Dwight Cummings and James Broadnax, both 19, and Lonnie Harris, 18, who has been let off the hook.

UPDATE 2: Wow, sure sounds like it was worth it: Both Cummings and Broadnax, in separate jailhouse interviews, admitted to the murders, saying that they knew they were going to kill somebody that night and that their only motivation was money. And how much money did they get away with? $2. Chills to the bone, if you ask me.

Here is the link to the disturbing interview...nothing graphic, just a young, lost soul trying to be hard.

12oz, the 'young, lost soul' you're referring to here is already a hardened sociopath. No 'trying' necessary on his part.

And yes, while I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Broadnax's early life was so hellish - I'm also sorry to note that he never learned the art of empathy, the difference between right and wrong, and the valuable life lesson that the universe doesn't revolve around his ignorant ass.

Yeha, if you're gonna cap someone for money, at least head to Highland Park where you can at least get a Diners Club card out of the deal.

I was watching the news last night and I believe we have a new trend going on. It seems like every criminal out there is sure to get a Jailhouse Interview after this one came out.

The Trains at NorthPark Oh, no! Godzilla got into the Northpark train exhibit! But don't worry, the engineers will have it back up and running in time for your mall visit. And now, BEFORE the big holiday rush, is the best time to see them, before hundreds of drooling children take over the enclosure after Thanksgiving. More info
